Nursery
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! No matter if this is your first child or seventh, this age is a precious time for you and your new arrival. We completely understand the new changes and potential dilemmas you now face with coming to a church service.

One of the most important decisions you make, as a parent, is who can watch your children in your absence. That is part of stewardship responsibility. When seeking volunteers, we first think as a parent with that thought in mind. We also encourage you to introduce yourself to the volunteers so that you have the opportunity to meet the wonderful people that are here to assist you and your family.

A one thing that you can expect in the nursery is we do NOT have a co-op nursery. Most churches require new moms to help in the nursery to fill the need, we how ever do not. We believe that it is a part of our role in the children’s ministry to provide families the opportunity for rest while in service. The volunteers in our nurseries want to be there for this purpose and serve the Lord in this manner, to take care of your little one and provide support to you as a family.

We also have additional helpers called Teen Volunteers. These volunteers are there to assist the adults in the care of your children. They have all completed specific child care training and have met strict requirements to be able to serve in the nursery. They want to serve the Lord and have the understanding of how to serve others in the house.

If you are an expectant parent, or if you would like to see us in action, we invite you to come back and speak with our volunteers. We have great success in working with parents to assist them during this transition of leaving their children in our care. Our goal is to make your children’s experience a pleasurable and loving one, while you attend service.
